Why Auction?
Since Blizzard updated the World of Warcraft Client Patch 2.1.3, Eyonix posted a change about the mail system. They've made a small change to how an aspect of your mail system works. This means that the in-game mail containing money will now have a one hour delay and is no longer instantaneous after our delivery.
But Auction House generated emails for successful auction sales are still instantaneous. (the mail containing money will showed in
your mailbox instantly, but it takes 1 hour to pick up the money)
For more detailed information, please check the news from Blizzard on the World of Warcraft community site: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/
